Two old Beauties and the Lady in Red

I was not the only one taking photos of the steam locomtives at Ångans Dag. The girl in the red dress makes a decorative addition to this photo of Dylta and KM Nelsson. ÖSlJ 3, Dylta was built in 1919 by Orenstein & Koppel GmbH and has a steam engine that generates 40 hp. In the beginning it served at Strå kalkbruk (limestone mill) in Sala. 1934 it was transfered to Dylta kalkbruk in Örebro where it served until 1960 when Östra Södermanlands Järnväg took over the steam locomotive. Now it frequently is in traffic on the line Mariefred – Läggesta Nedre. NAÄJ 4, KM Nelsson I wrote about in yesterdays post.

The steam locomotives Dylta, KM Nelsson and a lady in red taking a photo. The locomotives belong to Östra Södermanlands Järnväg, the oldest narrow gauge heritage railway in Sweden.
